Speech and Language Pathology (SLP) is therapy that assists with a child’s ability to communicate and engage with others.

Our Speech and Language Pathologist, Ginny Martin, has over 30 years experience working with children, families and support personnel. Ginny has worked in private practice for the last 16 years, with a special focus on working with children who have autism spectrum disorder. She implements best practices to address the communication and social challenges that these children experience, using a combination of naturalistic instruction and structured teaching, and involving families and support personnel to make intervention meaningful and effective.

In addition to Ginny’s extensive experience working with children who have autism spectrum disorder, she also has experience with the following disorders:

Ginny is a member of the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of B.C., Speech-Language And Audiology Canada (SAC) and the BC Association of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (BCASLPA). She has completed a Masters of Speech-Language Pathology. Ginny is listed on the Registered Autism Service Provider (RASP) list through Autism Information Services British Columbia (AIS BC).
