STEP 2: Parent(s) decide that Achieve Support and Development is a good fit for their child and family. Achieve will set up an initial meeting with Intake Coordinator to review initial paperwork (service agreement, consent forms) and to review families’ schedule to determine the best time to begin Initial Assessment.

STEP 3: Initial Assessment by the professional working with your child (usually the behaviour consultant is the initial point of contact however some families choose Speech Therapy/Occupational Therapy or Music Therapy as the initial service they receive).

STEP 4: Implementation of goals determined by the initial assessment. This is the stage of therapy when the consultant (BC/SLP and or OT) commence direct 1:1 sessions as well as parent consult sessions. Music Therapy can take place at Achieve’s office or in the familes’ home.
